Ray Henson defeated Poker Hall of Famer T.J. Cloutier heads-up to emerge victorious in the record-setting 2015 World Series of Poker Circuit Choctaw $365 no-limit hold’em re-entry event. For the win Henson earned $197,588 and his fourth WSOP Circuit gold ring.

The event had a $500,000 guarantee, which it blew out of the water when it drew 4,053 entries to build a $1,215,900 prize pool and become the largest-ever WSOP Circuit event in terms of field size.

The previous record holder was a 2011 re-entry event at the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond that had 3,001 entries. The next largest field was in this same event in 2014, which had a 2,867-entry turnout.

Henson took a 5-to-3 chip lead into the final heads-up battle with Cloutier. On the final hand the two had made it to a flop of JJ7 and got all of the chips in with Cloutier’s KK in trouble against the QJ of Henson. The board completed with the A on the turn and the Q on the river to secure the pot and the title for Henson.
